Living in Vermont means that winter often hangs around longer than most people would like. Although I am looking forward to sunshine, mountain bikes, and swimming holes, I can't help but get a little sad as I see the snow slowing melting away. Taking this last opportunity to get out and enjoy a snowshoe hike up Mt. Pisgah, we were treating to some amazing views. The sunny weather on the other hand meant that the trek up was weighed down by the melting snow sticking to our feet like concrete.

These are some of the one of a kind pieces made from recycling scraps left after larger garments were cut. For me its like solving a puzzle, trying to figure out what colors, textures, and prints will mix well together, and exciting to see how different they can turn out.
The winter has been long, but productive in the studio. Lots of new prints and new designs in the works. Snowy days, sipping coffee, and working in the cozy little studio have become one of the things I look forward to.
